Environmentally Friendly Printing — Paper

Our paper stocks have a 10% to 30% post consumer waste content. All paper stocks are certified by either the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) or the SFI (Sustainable Forestry Initiative), which indicates that the paper has been responsibly forested. This means that the paper stocks have come from well-managed forests that follow strict environmental standards. Both organizations follow the trees, pulp, and paper through the entire chain of custody to ensure responsible foresting.

Environmentally Friendly Printing — Toner-Based Ink

Our facility uses only digital presses that utilize toner-based cartridges that are nontoxic and manufactured in zero waste facilities.

Environmentally Friendly Printing — Recycling of Waste

All paper trimmings, waste, wood, plastic, and office paper are recycled. By using only digital presses, we are able to keep paper waste to a minimum.

While we strictly follow our environmentally friendly printing practices, it is important to realize that in general, the paper and printing industries have made great strides in reducing its impact on the environment. Paper companies utilizing responsibly forested practices typically plant four trees for every tree that is harvested. That helps make printing a renewable resource.
